Eyelash Extension Aftercare

Learn how to maintain good eye hygiene and maximize your eyelash extension retention by following simple steps

Within the initial 4 hours of application:

‣ wait four hours to wet lashes.

•avoid steams, saunas, and heat contacting the eyelash extensions

After the initial 4 hours:

  • you can wet your lashes as you normally would ~ cool and low-pressure water is best

  • avoid heat around the eyelash extensions

  • do not pick, pull or rub the eyelashes

  • avoid oil getting in contact with the eyelash extensions

    • read the ingredient list and if oil is in the top half of the list — please avoid

  • avoid mascara, however feel free to wear other eye/face makeup.

  • please try to sleep on your back.

  • to maintain maximum fluff and fabulousness, get a refill every two to three weeks.

Washing your eyelashes with an extension safe shampoo is ESSENTIAL to maintaining good eye hygiene as well as elongating your retention.

Wash your lashes using the sample of Dreamy Lash Bath given at your first appointment or your purchased bottle.

  1. use a soft eyeshadow brush

  2. shake your sample vial to get a foam or utilize the foam pump from the bottle

  3. sweep and brush through eyelashes thoroughly

  4. rinse with cool water

  5. pat dry with lint-free cloth/tissue

    optional: blow dry on cool setting or fan the lashes dry and brush to achieve ultimate fluff
